Digital Desk, Chandigarh. The Punjab government on Friday announced to dedicate 100 Aam Aadmi Clinics to the people on Independence Day.
Health Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra said that this is the first step towards fulfilling the government’s commitment to provide better health facilities.
He said that the Health Department is fully geared up to launch this flagship scheme and is working to ensure the availability of necessary staff, equipment and infrastructure for smooth functioning of the clinics.
The Minister said that under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Aam Aadmi Clinic will cover all 117 assembly constituencies of the state.
With the establishment of clinics, the lower and middle class will not only get all health benefits at their doorstep, but it will also help in reducing unnecessary rush in hospitals.
The Minister said, the State Government is fully committed to improve the health infrastructure of the State and provide quality health services to its citizens in line with its ideology of ensuring a strong and healthy Punjab.
